Dear Kentucky Legislators:

​

Under current state law, Kentucky school boards can raise property taxes to increase revenue by 4% without being subject to a vote.

​

However, despite the massive increase in spending for public education in Kentucky over the past 30 years, we have seen no meaningful return on our investment. 

​

Throwing more money at a broken educational system isn't solving any problems. Instead, we need to invest our money more wisely. 

​

The only way we fix this is to turn off the money spigot. That's why I am asking you to support legislation that ends the unchecked 4% yearly tax hikes in property taxes.
