Stop mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations in children.

Dear Kentucky Legislators:

​

A child should never be forced to get a COVID-19 vaccination to be able to attend school in-person.​

​

As with any therapy in medicine, we must weigh the risks and benefits.

​

Given that the risk of death or serious illness from COVID-19 is almost 0% among children (less than the yearly flu), it is difficult to confidently claim that the benefit of a COVID-19 vaccine outweighs its risks. 

​

Therefore, the decision to vaccinate a child should be left to that child's parents and pediatrician. 

​

I ask that you pledge to vote for legislation that prohibits mandatory COVID-19 vaccination in children.
